Hello, My name is Cari Lynn. I am an audio technician by day, but making unique, beautiful things is my passion.

I started making jewelry about seven years ago. I explored several techniques including macrame and bead weaving. I stumbled upon kumihimo, the traditional Japanese art of braiding, on the internet, and ordered a starter kit. Right away I knew that I loved this technique. I have focused mainly on round braids for the past years, but am starting to branch out into flat and square braids.

I strive to create items of the best quality. I want people to be surprised when they learn that my pieces have been made at my home. I have a humble work space and simple tools, so every item has literally come from my hands.

I have also begun creating 3D printed jewelry pendants. I started 3D modeling when I wanted to create custom wedding bands for my upcoming wedding. I realized how powerful this technology is, and decided to use it to make 3D versions of Indonesian batik patterns and designs. I plan to start listing these items in the near future.

My plan for the future is to obtain a marudai, a Japanese braiding stand, which allow my to create round braids of unlimited size, so that I can make an even larger array of patterns. Keep checking back to see my progress on these plans!!
